Queens day weekend @ Teuge
April 29-30
This weekend was planned for the CRW-dogs from Holland, the UK and
Germany to make the first real preparation jumps this year. Before
going to Empuria late may, they wanted to practice some big-ways over
holland. And since normally the weather on queensday is fine (with an
orange sunshine, and nice temperatures) it was decided to team up @
teuge, and make some nice 16-ways.
Well..... it turned out to be a little different: Not 16, but 13
people, temperature: -16 at 9000 feet, some rain, hail and snow. But...
also white clouds, some sunshine and just enough blue sky to make 9
jumps in two day's :-)
No reserve rides, no real wraps, some people not that current anymore,
but overall a good weekend. We made 9 more jumps than expected (0....)
so everybody went home with a good feeling I guess.
To the right you will find some pitures taken with my new Canon 350D. I
have to practice somewhat more with the different wide angle (or buy a
new lens ;-) and work on my photoshop skills. But, wou will 'get the
picture' looking at the stills.
